General Clerk II – Document Management Technician / Division-Wide
Working with CACI to assist the mission of the US Department of Justice, Division-Wide
Duties and Responsibilities
Help check boxes for Voting and Housing sections.
Check boxes of class citizen mail to go to Federal Records Center.
Prepare box lists for Federal Records Center.
Help compile burn boxes of outdated citizen mail.
Box and prepare written memos for high-volume boxes of citizen mail, check and stamp boxes for Federal Records Center, sort and box numerous collections of old mail, move boxes for archiving.
Pull closed file cases from the Lektrievers.
Assist with Paper Records Inventory.
Pulling various CRT closed case files for Housing and Special Litigation sections.
Box up numerous burn files and documents.
Performing tasks specifically outlined in departmental procedures for Archiving Paper Files and Inventory.
Scanning and filing documents in the file rooms, library, and storage areas.
Maintaining Document Management in SharePoint and other internal databases.
Distributing and controlling documents electronically and in hard-copy format.
Executing archival activities for controlled documents.
Reviewing documents for format consistency and system compatibility.
Providing assistance to other internal functional departments regarding documentation formatting and processes
• High School/GED
• Technical Certificate or higher preferred
• 2-5 years of experience with Microsoft Word and Excel
• Prior experience in a regulated or government environment
- Position lasts between 6 months to 1 year. May be extended based on client need.
