What You’ll Get to Do:
CACI is seeking an Electronic Records Management Specialist to work on a U.S. Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA) program located at the Washington Navy Yard in Washington, D.C. In this position, you will be the key support for the NAVSEA Command Administrative Services (NAVSEA 00A) assisting the NAVSEA Records Management Officer (RMO) with the administration of Electronic Records Management Systems (ERMS) or Applications (ERMA) that are utilized by NAVSEA Headquarters (HQ) elements and field activities. You should be able to build high-trust partnerships with management and other NAVSEA team members, while being energetic, detail oriented, analytical, and self-starting.
More About the Role:
Assist with the NAVSEA HQ elements and field activities.
Disseminate Department of the Navy (DON) and NAVSEA electronic records management policy, under the direction of the RMO.
Provide ERMS/A training and user support to NAVSEA personnel.
Serve as the NAVSEA ERMS Coordinator (or future ERMS/application) responsible for management of user accounts, dataset use and organization management policy and business rules.
Monitor activity dataset containers for ERM policy compliance.
Coordinate and manage NAVSEA activity Records Management areas within ERMS Record Module.
Review NAVSEA Electronic Information System (EIS) records surveys provided by the NAVSEA CIO Federal Information Security Management Act (FISMA) Defense IT Portfolio-DON (DITPR-DON) as part of NAVSEA DITPR-DON EIS annual review. Create an assessment report, ERMS/A dataset usage, status and training reports as directed.
Support NAVSEA Command inspections held by NAVSEA Inspector General (SEA 00N) at field activities within the Washington, DC metropolitan area, as part of the NAVSEA RMO (SEA 00A) inspection team.
Potentially participate in Site Assist visits requested by field activities located within the Washington DC metropolitan area.
Develop and submit the following deliverables:
ERMS/A user account establishment and administration.
Provide periodic ERMS/A system usage metrics and reports at Records Management Officers direction.
Management of NAVSEA activity ERMS/A dataset/portal locations and containers.
Monitor NAVSEA activity records uploading activity to ensure procedures are being followed, and survey uploaded records to ensure that appropriate retention schedules are being applied.
Produce ERMS/A user and activity level administrator training materials and media.
Conduct scheduled and ad hoc ERMS/A user and local activity level administrator training.
You’ll Bring These Qualifications:
Must have an active DoD Secret security clearance.
Experience with conducting quality checks to ensure integrity of records and ensuring compliance with organization’s record keeping requirements.
Have strong written and verbal communication skills, effective listening skills and follow through.
Deliver high-quality presentations and training materials.
Ability to work under direction and independently, be self-motivated, and results oriented.
Ability to work under pressure due to tight deadlines and increased workloads.
Ability to multitask and organize work and schedules
Ability to communicate thoroughly and regularly with customers, supervisors, and peers.
Serve as a team player and able to work with government, contractors and administrative teams.
Working knowledge of the Microsoft Office 365 suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and Teams.
These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:
Bachelor’s degree and minimum 2 years of professional and relevant experience.
Previous experience in a military records management office.
This position is located at the Washington Navy Yard in downtown Washington, D.C. It is full time and on-site with the potential for partial telework. Parking is not provided nor is transportation reimbursed unless otherwise agreed to by the employer.
