CACI is looking for outstanding IT candidates to join our team in the National Capital Region (NCR). CACI is providing a variety of IT services to this customer including cyber security, identity and access management, risk management, cloud integration and engineering, field support services, service desk, application deployment and optimization, and operations center support services.

CACI is looking for an experienced Program Manager with IT operations leadership experience to join our team in Washington, D.C. to support a critical federal government customer. The Manager will be responsible for a team of 70+ staff providing 24x7x365 service desk support, site support, systems engineering, and information security at multiple locations.

The ideal candidate will have demonstrated previous experience managing a large IT operations program for a federal government customer.

What You’ll Get to Do:

The applicant shall provide technical and management oversight to a team of IT professionals operating in a 24x7x365 environment. This individual is responsible for ensuring the meeting of SLAs, driving resolution of high priority issues and successfully managing projects to completion.

Additional responsibilities include:

  • Overall performance of the subject task order against the statement of work

  • Manage staff schedules to ensure coverage for ongoing operations and surge events while meeting all SLAs

  • Devise policies, standard operating procedures, and approval workflows for the team

  • Interface with customers and other vendors for the purpose of communicating status of operations

  • Develop, recommend, and advance IT services to support customer mission needs

  • Direct and mentor project, and engineering managers to manage employees and mitigate operational and technical risks

  • Develop briefings, position papers and other supporting artifacts

  • Interview and select candidates to fulfill technical requirements

  • Inform management in a clear, concise, and timely manner of any customer or technical issues

  • Satisfactorily complete and maintain quarterly internal training and certification standards

  • Be responsive and decisive on adjusting architecture as customer requirements, market conditions and technology evolves

  • Ability and initiative to set team goals and execute

You’ll Bring These Qualifications:

  • Ability to obtain/maintain a SECRET Clearance

  • Ability to obtain/maintain a DHS EOD Suitability Clearance (Active EOD preferred)

  • Requires a bachelor’s degree or equivalent; BS or BA in Business Management or IT related field plus 15 years of experience (6 managing/supervising technical teams/projects)

  • The ideal candidate will have previous experience as a Program Manager or Deputy Program Manager over Service Desk, End User Support, Systems Administration, Cloud Support, Network Engineering, and/or Systems Architecting (or any combination of those).

  • Current Project Management Professional (PMP) certification

  • ITIL Foundation certification (or must obtain within first 6 months)

  • Proven communicator and leader

  • Flexible – The environment is highly dynamic. You will be expected to keep up with the changing environment while ensuring a high level of operational effectiveness

  • Team Player – This role is part of a much larger team. You will be expected to grow and development subordinate team members’ moral and wellbeing while supporting the overall goals of the program
