What You’ll Get to Do:

You will be a key contributor to the United States Secret Service (USSS), Office of Enterprise Readiness (ERO), Procurement Division (PRO), to assist in procuring quality goods and services in a timely fashion. Your primary goals will be to provide the best procurement services for our customers within the scope of the law and regulations; to promote a partnership between procurement staff and our customers to assist each other in procurement matters; to provide value-added procurement solutions to our customers and ensure that Government assets and resources are wisely managed.

You will provide cradle-to-grave procurement and acquisition support services with the federal government in supporting USSS procurement division/office including: purchasing/procurement, source selection, training, research, business process improvement, policy development, financial analysis, automated systems development/analysis/ implementation, federal government project or program management, federal statutes and regulations, acquisition or contracting management.

More About the Role:

  • Manage, simultaneously, multiple routine to highly complex matters and provide assistance and well-developed analyses on broad agency efforts in the relevant subject matter area(s).

  • Participate as a member of a team, frequently in a lead role, or work independently, coordinate with others, and provide leadership on a large and diverse range of complex individual task elements.

  • Assist in pre-solicitation, solicitation, award, and post-award phases of procurement actions that support the USSS mission; cradle-to-grave procurement actions, working with the contracting officers and contract specialists

  • Prepare and assist with issuance of new contract actions and support of fiscal year-end requirements; assist with contract modifications and funding modifications; assist with issuance of contract closeout and de-obligation modifications; and assist in the tracking, monitoring, and reporting of internal and external contract management and program office reporting requirements, such as the Contractor Performance Assessment and Reporting Systems (CPARS)

  • Provide cost and pricing analysis support for proposals, potential awards, and contract modifications; support functions associated with the administration and management of Procurement Division actions.

  • Draft documents to support awards and contract modifications

  • Track contract deliverables, correspondence, and trend data associated with administration and management of contracts actions

  • Communicate and collaborate directly with USSS internal customers: Contracting Officer Representatives (CORs), Project/Program Managers (PMs), and program offices.

You'll Bring These Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma

  • Must have a level 1, 2, or 3 FAC-C or DAWIA certification in the form oftraining transcripts. If previously employed as a Federal Employee in the 1102 job series copies of certification earned should accompany transcripts.

These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:

  • Bachelors’ Degree in relevant subject matter

  • Experience in comprehensive federal Government procurement and acquisition support services; cradle-to-grave contracting support services; pre-award, and post-award support services

Pay Range: The proposed salary range for this position is $49,900-$99,800. There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, geographic location, education, and certifications.
