Network/Lab Engineer with TS/SCI Clearance

The Enterprise Communications Services 3 (ECS3) program supports our intel customer across it’s many operating locations. Our focus includes the design, transition, operations, and continual service improvement to include tech modernization, tech refresh, activities associated with customer local area networks (LANs), wide area networks (WAN) and unified communication (UC) services.

Join CACI as a Network/Lab Engineer. Our mission on this program will be the design, transition, operations, and continual service improvement to include tech modernization, tech refresh, or Capital Equipment Replacement Program (CERP) activities associated with the clients’ LANs, WAN and UC services.

What will you do:

  • Installs lab configurations from version control to maintain availability and currency

  • Creates automated test routines, test data, test harnesses and other test facilitation capabilities for tester use

  • Possesses general knowledge of network and infrastructure hardware, software, operating systems, and related tools

  • Corrects problems with lab hardware and software

  • Assists with testing and documentation setup for products being tested

  • Installs, reinstalls, configures operating systems and software.

  • Participates in validation of lab environment disaster recovery plans.

  • Tests and evaluates network designs to determine whether customer requirements are met efficiently and effectively.

  • Participates in lab technology upgrade or expansion projects, including installation of hardware and software and integration testing.

  • Assists with development of network-related implementation and deployment documentation.

  • Supports engineers or other staff in the design or implementation of network solutions.

  • Assists with research and testing of new or modified hardware or software products to determine performance and interoperability.

  • Assists with design, build, or operation of equipment configuration prototypes, including network hardware, software, servers, or server operation systems.

  • Works under supervision of more senior staff

Certifications preferred:

  • IAT II compliant certifications, Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) (CCNA or similar)

Experience:

+ + 7 Yrs, or Associates + 5 Yrs, or Bachelors + 3 Yrs, or Masters + 1 Yrs

Clearance Requirement:

  • Minimum TS (SCI Eligible)
