CACI International NLCC Staff Action Officer in Washington, District Of Columbia
CACI is seeking a Staff Action Officer to join the National Leadership Command Capabilities (NLCC) Office at the Pentagon in Arlington, VA. We are looking for candidates that have strong experience with Communications Systems i..e experience with TACAMO (E-6B), National Military Command Center (NMCC), to SATCOM.
What You’ll Get to Do:
Use your background in program/project management supporting all aspects of a planned modernization initiative involving many organizations: managerial, financial, and tight deadline control capabilities a must.
Support National Leaders by providing advocacy, guidance, and integration oversight for Presidential and Senior Leader communications and Continuity communications. Ensuring these capabilities are secure, integrated, survivable, enduring, and available and can accomplish National and Mission Essential Functions under all conditions.
Provide oversight and support for Senior Leadership Command, Control, and Communications System- Airborne (SLC3S-A).
Be familiar with federal COOP/COG, Executive Branch continuity of government and continuity of operations planning by drafting policy documents, congressional correspondence, and respond to DOD CIO administrative tasking.
Support the Secretariat for the Council on Oversight of the National Leadership Command, Control, and Communications System (CONLC3S) and their senior governance body the NLCC Senior Steering Group.
Produce briefs and papers for National Leadership Command Capabilities (NLCC) office, U.S. Strategic Command’s Senior Advisory Group, and the Congressional Budget Office.
Produce transmittal packages for correspondence to Congress including reports in response to National Defense Authorization Act tasks.
Review and provide comments on updates to various policy documents, including DoD Directives, DoD Instructions, Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Instructions, U.S. Strategic Command Instructions, and other requirements documents.
You’ll Bring These Qualifications:
TACAMO (E-6B), National Military Command Center (NMCC), to SATCOM experience.
Program management/Project management experience.
10 years related experience.
Knowledge of DOD strategic communications and IT challenges and the Nuclear C3 mission.
Knowledge in policy development, including the DoD Issuances Process.
Technical expertise and analytical skills to support SLC3S-A and or COOP/COG efforts.
These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:
- Working knowledge of CATMS – DoD tasking system
