Job Description

CACI seeking a Technical Data Management Support Analyst to provide PEO CARRIERS CVN 78 Class Product Support specifically in the element areas of Technical Data Management, Configuration Management and CDRL planning to include any engineering, other logistics, program management, business & financial, and/or administrative professional services required.

What You’ll Get to Do:

  • Assist in Planning, coordinating, and/or evaluating the product support actions required to support a specified mission, weapons system, or other designated program

  • Manage the package of support functions required to field and maintain the readiness and operational capability of major weapon systems, subsystems, and components

  • Utilizes predictive analysis and modeling tools to define and/or improve product support

  • Develops and implements comprehensive product support strategies integrating the separate functions of design to cost, Product Support analyses, maintenance planning, provisioning, sustainment, modernization, and readiness to meet operational availability thresholds

  • Assist in the development of the Aircraft Carrier Life Cycle Support Plans as assigned

  • Assist in the management, monitoring, evaluation, and coordinating the execution of Integrated Product Support (IPS) to ensure achievement of desired outcomes through development and implementation of appropriate product support arrangements, continuously evaluating progress in attaining IPS and program objectives adjusting performance requirements and resource allocations across product support integrators and product support providers as necessary to optimize implementation of the product support strategy

  • Conduct in depth cost-benefit analyses, business case analysis, trade-off studies, and analysis of alternatives performed prior to each change in the product support strategy

  • Measure and evaluate program accomplishments, effectiveness, and/or compliance with meeting specific goals, objectives, rules, and regulations

  • Review and brief recommendations and conclusions developed by the team which affect long-range program performance and strategies

  • May develop management evaluation plans, procedures, and methodology as a result of the studies performed

  • Ensure system product support strategy elements are incorporated into acquisition documentation, procurement specifications, contracts, and engineering documents to include but not limited to: Life Cycle Sustainment Plan, Integrated Logistics Assessments, Configuration Management Plans, and Systems Safety

  • Participate in management meetings as authoritative representative of the assigned programs within area of responsibility

  • Communicate with internal and external stakeholders for assigned area of product support

  • Generate correspondence, technical plans, instructions, and directives necessary to ensure effective communications among all activities participating with assigned programs

You’ll Bring These Qualifications:

  • Active Secret Security Clearance

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

  • Familiarization of standard Navy correspondence

  • BA/BS Degree or equivalent experience and 5+ years of experience in life-cycle sustainment project and product management

These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:

  • Navy and Aircraft Carrier experience is a plus
