What You’ll Get to Do:
Work supporting the Navy’s Littoral Combat Ship Program. LCS is a fast, agile, mission-focused- platform designed for operation in near-shore environments yet capable of open-ocean operation. It is designed to defeat asymmetric "anti-access" threats such as mines, quiet diesel submarines and fast surface craft.
Assist with various program functions, including but not limited to:
Develop defendable modernization budget requirements in support of Program Object Memorandum (POM) and budget requests
Create visualizations to communicate Program Office’s modernization plan to external stakeholders and warfare centers
Develop briefs and responses to Congressional or OPNAV data calls
Analyze cost data to identify trends and feed changes back into cost estimates and cost phasing projection model
Coordinate with Configuration Management team, Engineering team, and Development team for updates to modernization plan, products, and tools
Coordinate with BFM to plan allocations within controls, develop budget briefs, and refine budget exhibits

You’ll Bring These Qualifications:
5-10 Years of experience with the U.S. Navy or DoD Acquisition Programs.
Strong proficiency with MS Office Suite, especially Excel and Powerpoint.
Active DoD Secret Clearance.
These Qualifications Would Be Nice to Have:
Familiarity with cost estimating and POM cycle
Visual Basic for Applications
