PMS 317, the Landing Platform Docking (LPD) amphibious ships Program office is responsible for the design, build, outfit, and test (to include Flight I and Flight II ships), and to provide for life-cycle maintenance support. With 11 LPD 17 Flight I ships delivered, two in construction and planned future procurement of 13 LPD 17 Flight II ships, the main focus of PMS 317 activities includes ship acquisition, technical/system integration, ship production, test, outfitting, GFE/GFI management, and post-delivery. CACI seeks a Mid-Level Management Analyst to provide Risk/Safety Support to assist PMS 317 in accomplishing its mission and objectives. This task will be executed in Washington, DC.
More About the Role:
Must be thoroughly familiar with planning and budgeting procedures and with Navy documentation requirements.
Manages the development, maintenance, and distribution of configuration management budgets, plans, and procedures.
Guides the execution of configuration issues in a full hardware/software lifecycle.
Supports the development of cost estimates and Configuration and Data Management activities for projects including database production hardware support, and software development/installation environment.
Must be capable of conducting an analysis of information, make recommendations, and independent work on projects. Analysts should have experience in a broad array of fields, including Acquisition Management, Business, and Financial Management or Cost Analysts, Configuration or Data Management, leverages GOTS/TOTS CM Tools to manage configuration items, GFE/GFI Management, Contracts Management, Program Management, Risk, Cyber Security, Security, Congressional and Public Affairs, International Programs, and Logistics and Supply Chain Management.
DoD/Navy ACAT I experience (Preferred)
You’ll Bring These Qualifications:
Active DoD Security Clearance
Bachelor’s Level Degree in a business or technical field (Preferred)
7+ years relevant experience in engineering/science management, operations research analysis, or financial/cost analysis (Preferred)
Basic program documentation tools for various disciplines.
Experience working with MIL-S-882 risk assessments and program risk, issue, and opportunity tracking and reporting.
Experience with database management and reporting.
Provides system and program safety support to the WESERB and System Safety technical community.
Experience with system safety evaluations and resolution tracking.
Ability to write clear reports
Ability to interface with team members, technical leads, and Project Managers
Ability to work alone on individual projects and collaborate with multidisciplinary team members
Proficient with MS Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:
Navy experience is a plus
7+ years relevant experience in engineering/science management, operations research analysis, or financial/cost analysis
Significant experience in U.S. Navy programs or operations
