We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Desk Officer position to support a client’s requirements in a challenging, dynamic setting located in the Washington Metropolitan Area.

More About the Role

The duties and functions include, but are not limited to:

  • National level CI program development and implementation.

  • CI policy development, guidance, and implementation.

  • Identification of CI program and investigative instructional requirements.

  • Management of complex interagency operational activities.

  • Daily case management oversight of all field investigative activities.

  • Liaison with USIC, FBI, and other law enforcement agencies at a mid-management level.

  • Recommend proactive investigative initiatives both internal to IN and across the Intelligence Community.

  • Knowledge and understanding of complex foreign intelligence service modus operandi and targeting techniques.

  • Develop and promulgate specific CI investigative priorities.

  • Adversary-specific program management activities.

  • Provide support to the full spectrum of the CI program.

  • Work closely with the FBI and the USIC to assist in any ongoing espionage, terrorism, or related operations and investigations at responsible facilities.

  • Review and operationalize raw and finished intelligence reports.

You’ll Bring These Qualifications

  • TS/SCI w/CI Poly eligible for a "Q' Clearance

  • Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited university or college.

  • Individual must have a minimum of fifteen (15) years’ experience in CI and/or espionage case management, and supervising agents and programs conducting these cases which may be a combination of civil service and/or military. Individual must have demonstrated evidence of excellent oral and written communication skills, conflict resolution techniques, and proven ability to perform under pressure to meet tight deadlines. Experience with CI databases for recordkeeping and data mining is required. Knowledge of geographic specific subject matter expertise is required.

  • The individual must have extensive experience in developing, guiding and managing complex CI programs at a national level at DOE, the FBI or DOD. A proven track record of interagency liaison capability within the US Intelligence Community is essential. Foreign liaison experience is also desired. Must have functional computer literacy and be proficient in common computer and network applications. The individual must demonstrate knowledge of full spectrum of CI activities and CI program development at a national level.

The proposed salary range for this position is:

$71,500 - $150,200
