What You’ll Get to Do:

Lead Logistics Analyst for contractor support for the DDG ILS Manager. Lead the development and implementation of policies, guidelines, and procedures to ensure effective and economic support for NAVSEA Logistics execution; gather and analyze information on highly complex product plans and project objectives, provide tracking and status reports, and support distribution and delivery commitments.

More About the Role:

  • Develop logistics plans for equipment, spares and maintenance. Research and develop policies, guidelines, and procedures to ensure quality and cost control.

  • Ensure proper updating of current ILS deliverables availability planning sheets, financial worksheets.

  • Ensure support to ILSMTs and action item tracking; CMT, Logistics Reviews, and ILSWGs as required; and availability planning.

  • Lead the preparation of class ILS status presentations, input for deliverables, tracking of Availability metrics, preparation of ILS certification status, and tracking and resolution of ILS deficiencies.

  • Assess and recommend the feasibility of proposed approaches to solve highly complex problems.

  • Prepare and present reports, studies, cost analyses, and briefings to staff and customers as needed.

  • Lead technical discussions at project review sessions and in presentations to the customer.

  • Review reports and briefings prepared by technical staff for quality.

  • Ensure that appropriate training is provided to program staff.

  • Establish and maintain effective relationships with customer and stakeholders.

  • Identify and resolve highly complex logistics issues.

  • Provide work leadership to less experienced Logistics Analysts.

  • Ensure compliance with quality assurance and security requirements.

You’ll Bring These Qualifications:

  • At least 8 years related experience.

These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:

  • Familiar with Integrated Product Support Elements.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft applications.

  • Leadership and management skills as demonstrated by previous work experience.

  • Strong customer service orientation.
