CACI International Sr. Configuration Management Analyst with Navy ACAT 1 shipbuilding experience in Washington, District Of Columbia
PMS 317, the Landing Platform Docking (LPD) amphibious ships Program office is responsible for the design, build, outfit, and test (to include Flight I and Flight II ships), and to provide for life-cycle maintenance support. With 11 LPD 17 Flight I ships delivered, two in construction and planned future procurement of 13 LPD 17 Flight II ships, the main focus of PMS 317 activities includes ship acquisition, technical/system integration, ship production, test, outfitting, GFE/GFI management, and post-delivery. CACI seeks a SENIOR LEVEL MANAGEMENT ANALYST to serve as the CONFIGURATION MANAGEMENT MANAGER. The selectee will assist PMS 317 personnel accomplish its mission and objectives. This task will be executed in Washington, DC.
What You’ll Get to Do:
Provide support as an authority in program documentation tools and disciplines.
Interface daily with the PMS 317 Configuration Management /Risk Lead to set CM Team priorities and manage tasking.
Establish and maintain the integrity of products by using configuration identification, configuration control, and configuration status accounting.
Manage, lead and document the change/configuration control and risk management process in accordance with the PMS 317 CM and risk management plans.
Coordinate with SEA05, SupShip, shipbuilder and other waterfront personnel to ensure appropriate CM document review, approvals and contract actions are implemented.
Coordinate CM/Risk management board planning efforts. Maintain CM/Risk management trackers and metrics.
Provide recommendations to improve CM/Risk management processes, as appropriate.
Create, maintain, and follow CM policies and processes, leverage GOTS and COTS CM tools to manage configuration items.

Provide inputs CM/Risk management budget as directed.
Manage CM/Risk management personnel assigned to the task order.
You MUST Bring These Qualifications:
Must be a US Citizen and have an Active DoD Secret clearance
Bachelor’s or Advanced Degree in a business or technical discipline Preferred
15+ years relevant experience in engineering/science management, operations research analysis or financial/cost analysis.
DoD/Navy ACAT 1 shipbuilding experience
Significant experience in U.S. Navy programs or operations.
Ability to write clear reports
Ability to interface with team members, technical leads and Project Managers
Ability to work alone on individual projects and collaborate with multidisciplinary team members
Proficient with MS Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
Good verbal (English) communication skills
These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:
Amphibious shipbuilding test experience
Experience with SupShip Gulf Coast and Ingalls Shipbuilding
