CACI International Staff Action Officer in Washington, District Of Columbia

Job Description

CACI is seeking a Staff Action Officer in the NLCC Directorate. In this role you will respond to all normal DOD staff tasking such as data calls, drafting white papers, briefings, budget assessments, etc.

What You’ll Get to Do:

  • As team member and as individual SME, provide operational, technical and policy support for the National Leadership Command Capability mission domain.

  • Be familiar with federal COOP/COG, Executive Branch continuity of government and continuity of operations planning.

  • Can draft policy documents, congressional correspondence, and respond to DOD CIO administrative tasking.

  • Attend meetings and provide professional judgment and expertise on behalf of or to the customer.

  • Conduct audits, reviews, assessments of stakeholder agency continuity operations and communication capabilities.

  • Participate or facilitate working groups and other decision-support activities as tasked.

  • Liaison with wide variety of NLCC stakeholder agencies, and develop strong working relations with counterparts and principals at each.

You’ll Bring These Qualifications:

  • Possess over 10 years relevant experience, and over 10 years specialized experience in the above.

  • Have strong working knowledge of DOD organization, military services, major military staff operations, and COOP/COG as a mission domain.

  • Must have current active TS clearance with active SCI eligibility.

  • Work in a SCIF in gov’t spaces (Pentagon.)
