What You’ll Get to Do:

  • Maintain procurement files.

  • Assist Contracting Officers as needed.

  • Perform market research and assisting with competition.

  • Create purchase orders and to assisting with purchase card purchases.

  • Assist with forwarding invoices to be processed.

  • Respond to emails and performing customer service functions

  • Perform other duties as requested.

  • Supervision of contractor staff

  • Arrange routine and emergency service and maintenance of office equipment

  • Track progress of activities and reporting status

  • Perform quality control and ensuring timely delivery of all specified deliverables

  • Arrange routine and emergency service and maintenance of office equipment

  • Oversee the organization and maintenance of correspondence files

  • Other related duties as assigned.

More About the Role:This position will work onsite with the client to handle the following tasks in support of the DOJ/ENRD Comptrollers Office. During the COVID 19 pandemic telework may be authorized at the discretion of the client after training is completed.You’ll Bring These Qualifications:

  • UFMS experience is strongly preferred.

  • Additional requirements include

  • Ability to operate a variety of office equipment, including PCs, printers, photocopiers, scanners, telephone systems, fax machines, numbering and binding equipment, etc.

  • Must be able to write and print clearly.

  • Must have typing/keyboarding skills and good communication skills.

  • Attention to detail very important.

  • Must take the initiative to ask questions when necessary to complete task correctly (e.g. where instructions are not explicit or appear to be contrary to the task objective).

  • Ability to work well in a team environment and ability to work independently.

  • Ability to read and follow instructions very important.

  • Must be able to prioritize and manage work for a number of people.

  • High school diploma or GED required.

  • Proficiency with Excel and ability to work with numbers and sums.

  • Ability to interact with vendors in a professional manner.

  • Professional attitude and reliable.

  • We are seeking a candidate who is organized, proficient with excel, has a good understanding of financial, accounting, and government contracting rules and regulations, is able to work under tight deadlines, and has good customer service skills.

These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:

  • Experience in government contracting.

  • Experience with UFMS (DOJ’s Unified Financial Management System)
