The CRM team is looking for an innovative and forward thinking senior professional who is able to make an impact. You will be part of the Enterprise Operations Infrastructure Team, deploying, operating, 1500 users, VMware, and maintaining 500+ physical servers for the DOJ Criminal Division.
More About the Role:
As a system admin/engineer, you will have various responsibilities such as:
Performing a variety of IT Operations and Maintenance tasks.
Provisioning physical and VMware virtual servers.
Installing, configuring, and maintaining Windows servers, appliance and other operating systems:
Supporting and coordinating work with application, software, and network administrators, vendors, as well as end users.
Troubleshooting performance, reliability, functional, and other issues in the environment.
Participating in the on-call rotation.
Performing maintenance activities during off-hours maintenance windows.
You’ll Bring These Qualifications:
No degree is required, but you will bring at least 7 years of experience
Must be able to obtain a DOJ MBI (Must be a US Citizen)
Experienced in Windows Server 2012, 2016, 2019.
Microsoft SCOM, SCCM, Terminal Services, DHCP, DNS, Active Directory, and other Windows infrastructure components.
At least 5 years of experience with assorted COTS software.
At least 5 years of experience with Scripting and automation. (Powershell, VMware PowerCLI)
At least 5 years of experience with Cisco UCS and Dell PowerEdge servers.
Familiar with general networking concepts, i.e. VLANs, subnetting.
These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:
VMware vCenter administration. Install, configure, and update VMware vCenter, ESXi, SRM.
Experience automating common tasks to streamline daily duties.
Experience with SAN storage, particulary NetApp.
Experience with Azure and/or AWS, particularly in hybrid cloud environments.
Experience with Office 365.
Experience with VDI.
