CACI International Systems Engineer in Wiesbaden-Erbenheim, Germany
In this exciting role you will support the USAREUR G2 help desk by offering technical assistance to G2 customers who are using various software, hardware or other computer systems. You will image, migrate, update, and otherwise maintain G2 enterprise computer systems over classified and unclassified networks.
Duties and Responsibilities:
This is a position supporting the US Army Europe, G2, providing system engineering, systems integration and technical
support operating over a Gigabit Ethernet and Internet Protocol in both a garrison and deployed environment.
The position provides system engineering for Military Liaison Offices across the theater.
Responsible for implementation, operations, maintenance, and systems administration of messaging systems, encryption
technologies, enterprise anti-virus technologies and STAMIS and PKI information systems.
Patches, monitors, and reports compliance status of Information Assurance Vulnerability Alerts.
Detects, corrects, and performs damage assessments of security vulnerabilities.
- BA degree with 3 years related experience or AA with 7 years experience or 11 years with technical experience or a major certification and a minimum of 7 years’ experience ;
Major certifications for this position are:
CISSP, MCITP, MCDBA, MCAD, MCSD, MCSA,
MCM, MCA, MCPD
Extensive knowledge of current Microsoft Operating and messaging systems
Help desk experience
Certification at the Tactical Level II requirements as stated in DoD Instruction 8570.1
Appropriate Environment certifications for the operating systems and tools they support.
