CACI International NEMSCOM Network/Systems Administrator in Williamsburg, Virginia
CACI has an immediate opening for a NEMSCOM Network/Systems Administrator 4 to work in our Cheatham Annex, Williamsburg, VA office, with up to 10% travel. This individual will be responsible for the day-to-day operation of an organizations computer networks and communication systems. They will implement and maintain network hardware and software, troubleshoot network problems, and ensure network security, availability and performance standards.
What You’ll Get to Do:
Evaluate and recommend specific, detailed information for hardware and software selections and upgrades to include implementation solutions to meet present and future computing capacity requirements.
Provides operation and maintenance of hardware and software with minimal supervision
Maintains and repairs personal computer and network equipment
Provides software maintenance, testing and debugging and installation of upgrades and new applications
Maintain up-to-date equipment and software inventories, and up-to-date network drawings.
Troubleshoot networks, systems, and applications to identify and correct malfunctions, operational difficulties, and remediate vulnerabilities
Configures, installs and test defined operational system requirements associated with a hyper-converged, virtual desktop infrastructure
Provides system administration for assigned infrastructure and establishes and maintains security as it relates to users.
Performs maintenance and system upgrades including service packs, patches, hot fixes and security configurations.
Supports configuration documentation for assigned infrastructure.
Understand and navigate Host Based Security Systems | Host Intrusion Protection Systems.
You’ll Bring These Qualifications:
Recognized subject matter expert
Bachelor Degree (BA/BS) or equivalent experience and minimum 7 years of related work experience related to Systems Requirements, Operational Requirements, Test & Evaluation, and/or Training.
The ability to work independently with limited oversight from manager
Excellent organization and communication skills.
Must have a current Information Assurance (IA) Technical Level II or III (i.e. GSEC, Security+, SCNP, SSCP) certification
IAW DoD 8570 series Information Assurance Training and completed a Windows server and/or workstation operating system certification course.
Must have an active DoD Secret clearance.
These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:
Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert -MCSE would be viewed as beneficial.
Microsoft Hyper-Visor technologies
Certification in virtualization technologies and products such as VMWare, and remote administration tools.
Experience with scripting and database queries.
Experience with firewalls, switches, routers, SAN, proxy servers, antivirus, web servers, and server hardware maintenance.
