CACI International Senior Virtualization and Storage Lead in Williston, Vermont
Team CACI has an exciting and challenging opportunity available for a Sr. Virtualization and Storage Lead supporting a DHS customer’s wide-area (WAN), local-area (LAN) and campus-area (CAN) networks across multiple security domains. We are a seeking an experienced and motivated Sr. Virtualization and Storage Lead who will Compute and lead the Storage Deployments in an Agile environment. This role necessarily deals with highly confidential and sensitive information, and the role is expected to confirm to best handling practices.

Manages experienced professionals who exercises latitude and independence in assignments of a large project, with limited oversight from manager. The Sr. Virtualization and Storage Lead coaches, reviews and delegates work to lower level team members. Solving difficult and complex problems. As a Lead, you will be empowered to help guide an experienced team, build shippable product and be responsible for leading Agile best practices using Scrum. In addition to leading daily Scrum and other Agile meetings, you will also be responsible to ensure Scrum is understood and enacted, work with team(s) to solve problems and to drive continuous improvement and business owner satisfaction. Influences others regarding policies, practices and procedures.

Work with both corporate and customer leadership to research, analyze, and implement enterprise-wide network security solutions/capabilities/enhancements to support customer business/mission goals and objectives.
Manages a small to mid-sized technical team consisting of experienced professionals. Leads, directs and reviews the work of a team who exercise latitude and independence in their assignments. Responsible for providing guidance, delegating work, coaching and training to other employees within job area.
Manage deployment of system infrastructure and commodities in support of components, such as: physical servers, consolidate infrastructure, Hyper/converged Services, virtual storage platforms, wireless and mobile network kits containing multi-disciplined technologies.
Manage Installation of hypervisors, Operating Systems (Linux, VMWare, Ubuntu, and Windows) in support of all infrastructure to include patching, updated releases, Firmware and BIOS updates to ensure platforms meet compliance.
Manage Installation of secondary software packages including security services, database services and HTTPS services as required.
Manage Utilization integrated software deployment tools to push operating systems, predefined packages and group policy enforcement.
Develop Planning for the future strategy of server/serverless, container services, storage and platforms and provide budgetary information as needed.
Identify, diagnose, and resolve complex problems with servers (including virtual), storage, platform (including PaaS) infrastructure as the new deployments occur.
Implement automated and orchestrated delivery methodologies.
Identifying, analyzing, and optimizing virtual processes in collaboration with the Network, Platform, Database, and Applications teams for automating.
Writing process requirements documents and decomposing each requirement into multiple user stories for bi-weekly sprint development cycle.
Proven experience with Agile, sprints and DevOps concepts
Experience working with a Scrum Master, Daily Scrum meetings, sprints and written deliverables
Perform SME level incident resolution and root cause problem determination to ensure availability and stability of virtual platforms according to established service level agreements.
Deploy, maintain and troubleshoot multiple virtualized environments (DevTest, Stage Production).
Application stability, security, performance, and capacity management, as well as documentation of current and future configuration processes and policies.
Manage and coordinate the deployment and expansion of Client Server technologies, as well as monitor, refine and research solutions to existing problems.
Create VM deployment templates and produce automated VM deployments.
Diagnose Virtual machine troubleshooting (VM) and performance issues.
Analyze performance data to provide capacity planning and resource utilization information in support of operational processes.
Organize and facilitate all scrum related meetings (stand-ups, retrospectives, reviews, demos, etc.).
Work with the team to develop project plans, roadmaps and manage backlog. Communicate team plans, report impediments for escalation, identify risks/concerns to relevant stakeholders to help resolve.
Monitor team backlog daily and ensure it accurately reflects the current state of the sprint.
Work with product owners and stakeholders to refine vision and establish goals and metrics.
Track and communicate team velocity and sprint progress to all affected teams and management.

Ability to obtain a DHS Entrance on Duty (EOD) is required to begin employment and must be maintained as a requirement of continued employment.
Experience with supporting tools such as, or similar to Netapp OnCommand to include Manager and Insight, Microsoft Virtual Machine Manager, Linux (Ubuntu, CentOS, etc.), Microsoft Hyper-V, MS System Center Suite, VMWare ESXi, Microsoft System Center Operations Manager, Cisco Flexpod and other unified computing technologies HCI (Hyper Converge Infrastructure).

Strong written and verbal communications skills, including the ability to communicate solutions effectively to technical and non-technical audiences

These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:
Relevant DHS focused experience
University degree (BA/BS) or equivalent experience and minimum 5 years of related work experience.
Experience with creating contract deliverables is preferred.
Certified CSM (SCRUM Master) is a plus.
Experience with managing and using Dev Ops concepts.
Experience with major cloud providers preferred.
