CACI is looking for a Technical Lead to oversee the technical execution of an Operation and Maintenance (O&M) support project for a web-based, cloud-hosted FOIA case management solution. This position involves leading a mixed staff of remote and on-site professionals providing incident management, system performance, and system enhancement using Agile principles to create software modules and work products using Angular / TypeScript development that meet customer’s business requirements for new features, enhancement of existing capabilities, and correction of defects identified in the system. You will be responsible for supporting the Project Manager in the technical aspects of the project, to include directing and coordinating the activities of IT professionals to meet the quality and schedule requirements for the on-going support, operation, and maintenance of the FOIA case management solution operated in an on-premise cloud environment. You will lead the planning, design, and implementation of new system capabilities and enhancement of existing functionality; the deployment and testing of software; and reporting of progress, performance, and quality issues to internal and customer stakeholders. You will make pro-active recommendations and advise on system improvements, automation, and risk management. You will also mentor members of the team in their professional development, and ensure they have a clear understanding of the requirements and project goals.

More About the Role

  • Perform expert-level troubleshooting and resolution of user reported system issues.

  • Uses JIRA to review, assign, and track issues, and to review updates on progress, and documentation of resolutions.

  • Leads proactive efforts to identify potential underlying issues impacting system function and performance.

  • Leads root-cause analysis for all major system issues; leads team in developing solutions.

  • Guide and direct technical team members across the software development life cycle as well as the Operations and Maintenance of the system.

  • Leads the analysis, validation, refinement, and documentation of business requirements as stated in user stories.

  • Leads the planning and execution sprints for delivering incremental functionality and corrective fixes to the system.

  • Oversees the efforts of other members of the team creating, documenting, and validating test cases.

  • Identify improvement opportunities (proactive and reactive) by assessing business process and system inefficiencies.

  • Potential for hybrid on-site and remote work.

Required Qualifications:

  • Active Top Secret Clearacne

  • US Citizen

  • Masters Degree (or Equivalent)

  • 12+ or more years of experience

  • Works independently without close supervision

  • Demonstrate up-to-date experience leading the support and troubleshooting complex, web-based systems

  • Able to lead other technical professionals to solve difficult and complex problems and issues effectively

  • Ability to communicate effectively and collaboratively in a team environment

  • Demonstrated knowledge and experience with cloud / on-premise cloud environments.

  • Experience with JIRA and Confluence

  • Stay current with customer needs and strategies; utilizing formal and informal written communication methods (for example, emails, newsletters, PowerPoint presentations, executive updates, task lists, updates) to communicate updates and findings; and facilitating project meetings and presentations to all types of diverse audiences (for example, senior management, Customers, technical staff)

These Qualifications Would Be Nice to Have:

  • Experience with FOIA Case Management

  • Experience managing development activities in the Angular Framework / TypeScript

  • Providing advice and guidance to others in the application of information and best practices

  • Experience with Section 508 (WCAG) web accessibility

The proposed salary range for this position is:

$104,200-$229,200
