CACI International Systems Engineer - MBSE in Wright Patterson Afb, Ohio
CACI is seeking a cleared senior level Systems Engineer- MBSE (Model-Based Systems Engineering) to support the AFAMS (Air Force Agency for Modeling and Simulation) program located at WPAFB (Wright Patterson AFB), OH. In this role, you will support the Air Force Simulator Program Office (AFLCMC/WNS) to effectively plan and contract for the SCARS Simulator Common Architecture Requirements and Standards effort, as well as program execution .
What You’ll Get to Do:
Managing a collaborative modeling environment to support digital engineering activities for training system acquisition and sustainment within AFLCMC/WNS
Sustaining the WNS MBSE Style Guide to standardize model appearance, content, capabilities, and reports
Developing and supporting MBSE and DE (Digital Engineering) training
Modeling training systems in SysML
Reviewing documentation to ensure compliance with DE (Digital Engineering) practices
Assisting WNS engineering staff with review and interpretation of systems models

The Simulator Common Architecture Requirements and Standards (SCARS) initiative has been introduced by the Simulators Program Office in the Air Force Life Cycle Management Center (AFLCMC), Directorate of Agile Combat Support (ACS), as the long-term approach for overcoming these threats. The SCARS initiative promises to provide a common solution for over 40 unique simulator baselines by streamlined cyber hardening, affordable concurrency upgrades, and simplified introduction of new technologies through a robust and well-defined common system architecture. You’ll Bring These Qualifications:
An Active Secret Clearance
A Masters Degree and six years of experience
Ensure compliance with DoD and AF Certification and Accreditation policies
DoD experience of at least 5 years
